Wayne Deckard brought the meeting to order at 3:00 p.m.

Wayne Deckard: Last meeting we tabled the vote on paying for mowing to be done. Charlie Westerfield is spending a couple of days a week mowing the property. Out motion was to pay Charlie and Gene Hollingsworth for use of their equipment, which would be done as free rent during the mowing months.

We are responsible for mowing the grounds; the owners are responsible for providing mowing equipment.

Chad Williams: We still need volunteers to mow, and we can't recruit volunteers if we don't have working equipment. I move that we compensate Charles Westerfield and Gene Hollingsworth for the use of their mowing equipment by suspending their hangar rent during the mowing months, retroactive through June. John Komnick seconded. All voted in favor; none against. Motion passed.

Chad Williams: The best scenario is to find a used bush hog or other mower for our equipment.

Wayne Deckard: One problem is getting enough volunteers, the other is getting a volunteer who knows how to run the tractors.

NEW BUSINESS: Fall is good flying weather. There will be more planes in the air. Be careful and watch out for other airplanes.

TREASURER'S REPORT: Chad Williams: $3,931.57 in the account. I have an updated rent list. Last month's electric bill was the highest in two years, due to the amount of time that the air conditioners have to run. Rent checks get deposited quickly but rent/fuel checks take longer because Wayne needs to calculate the fuel bills.

Wayne Deckard: Motioned to take action against two ultralight aircraft owners who have not paid their rent for months (Steve Reeves and Jerry Kirkpatrick).

Michael Mossman: I will check to see when the certified letters were signed.

Charles Westerfield: We need a volunteer list of things that can be done.

Wayne Deckard: There is a chalkboard in the south room of the operations building. If you know of a job to be done post it on the chalkboard.

Wayne Deckard: If you want to move to a different hangar you will need to post your intentions on the board. Michael will need to know who is where so we can keep the records updated. We all need to know so that when someone comes out and wants to see what is available we have a current list.

Chad Williams motioned to adjourn; Chuck Leucht seconded. All voted in favor to adjourn.

Minutes respectfully submitted by Michael Mossman, Association Secretary
