Two officers (Mossman and Williams) and two directors (Hollingsworth and Leucht) present so a quorum was declared.

The meeting was brought to order by club Treasurer Chad Williams at approximately 3:00 p.m. in the operations building at Boone County Airport.

Chad Williams: We are out of fuel in both tanks. When the bill comes in we will owe about $6,000 for the fuel that we used.

Treasurer's Report. Current account balance is $9,120.93.

Chad Williams: We were able to get our lease renewed for two full years. The monthly rent went up $200 to $1,700 a month. We still have the three-month reprieve in winter. Since we are nearly full with members we are in good financial shape so we don't anticipate a change in rents.

The EPA contacted Roy Dawes about the underground fuel storage tanks. There is supposed to be an annual registration, which we didn't know about. Now we have some issues. They will come in to talk over our record keeping, etc. One tank may need to be relined. We are meeting with them on Monday, and may be able to avoid some fines.

Be sure to check your ropes and tie-downs; we are expecting some high winds over the weekend.

Club will be in better financial shape this year. Should be able to do some improvements, like lean-tos for the mowing equipment.

We have some new maps on the wall, can use dry erase markers. We spent $53.27 them.

We have a new member: Jim Kunz bought a Cherokee 140 and moved it to the field.

Roy Dawes will be working on a John deere tractor here that has a sickle bar and will use it to clean up along the runway.

All bills are paid.

For figuring fuel use for the propane heater in the maintenance hanger, take the difference from the start and stop meter readings, multiply times 0.3639 to get gallons then multiply times $1.71. Will generally be about $15 a day.

Our Open House will be in June, which is not that far away. We are looking for ideas on what to change or do different, and what to keep the same. We will always be needing more volunteers.

Wayne Deckard has been talking to someone near Dayton who has offered to set up a camp for a club fly-out. Will arrange ground transportation to the air museums.

Michael Mossman asked if the club would be interested in having an evening fish fry in the spring for members. Most present indicated general interest. No action taken.

Gene Hollingsworth motioned to adjourn; Chad Williams seconded; all in favor to adjourn.

Minutes respectfully submitted by Michael Mossman, Association Secretary
