Wayne Deckard brought the meeting to order at approximately 3:00 p.m.

Wayne Deckard: Safety Issue: We have been having a lot of animals on the grass and hard surface runways. Pay close attention to the cornfield; on takeoff there might not be enough room to miss them. The deer are staying in the corn then coming out. If landing at night, make a pass over the field then land.

We have a couple of runway lights out that will need to be replaced.

Columbus (BAK) Airport will have a runway closed for 100 days. During the time that they are replacing the intersection of the two runways, the entire airport will be closed for approximately two weeks. If you go to Columbus, be sure to check the NOTAMs.

Wayne Deckard: We still have not heard back yet on our taxes so we are holding off on any major purchases or repairs.

Election Results: Wayne Deckard, president; Jim Kouns, vice president; Michael Mossman, secretary; Chad Williams, treasurer; Kristen Henke, Gene Hollingsworth and Chuck Leucht, directors. 22 out of 36 eligible members voted, which was a participation rate of 61%.

Charles Westerfield: The fire extinguishers need to be checked.

Chad Williams' Financial Report: $10,638.08, inclusive of lease. The insurance is paid. Our account, which was a National City Bank, is now at PNC Bank. There are no fees with this account. We will need to reorder checks with this new bank name.

We currently have about 500 gallons fuel and will need to order more in about two weeks. We will owe about $5,000 for the fuel that we have consumed.

Mike Jackson: What about our planned concrete repair?

Wayne Deckard: We are still waiting on the the government so we will know what our tax liability is.

Earl Brosman: We need high speed internet out here. ILines and Comcast both show on their web sites that they offer it for this area.

Earl Brosman volunteered to get cost quotes from both companies.

Earl Brosman: The sandblaster needs to be repairs.

Wayne Deckard: It needs to be filled with white silicon sand.

Chad Williams motioned to purchase a new sandblaster, budgeting up to $250 for the blaster and sand, provided that it is at least the same size as the one that is here now. Wayne Deckard seconded the motion. All voted in favor; none against. Earl Brosman will shop for one at Harbor Freight. Chad Williams asked Brosman to contact a club officer if the price will be over the budgeted amount.

Charles Westerfield motioned to adjourn; Wayne Deckard seconded. All voted in favor of adjournment.
