Wayne Deckard brought the meeting to order at approximately 3:00 p.m.

Asphalt Repair/Replacement: The property owners will pay half of the estimate for the lower amount to repair the apron area around the fuel island.

Club Elections: Elections coming up in two months; elections are normally held during the July meeting. We will need candidates for officers and directors and will announce the slate at June meeting. Wayne Deckard declared his candidacy for president; Michael Mossman announced his candidacy for Secretary

Telephone and Internet: Earl Brosman reported that our contract is up for the office phone. If we don't renew the contract our cost will be an additional $7.00 per month for uncontracted service. No opportunity for a better price with another carrier. Earl also reported that broadband and other internet services are still not available in the airport area.

Aircraft and Parts Swap Meet discussion. Earl Brosman proposed that the club host a swap meet at the airport shortly before the AirVenture show in Oshkosh. Sellers could bring their items to the airport for sale. Proposal is for a 17% sales commission plus $1 per item to be tagged. If the vendor wants to take unsold items home they can. Earl would take anything remaining to Oshkosh to sell at the Fly Market and the airport would assume the profits, minus his expenses.

Wayne Deckard proposed that we host the swap meeting in lieu of an Affordable Flying event. Chris Henry, who is a radio talk show host, would be able to promote the event on his show. He also asked if the club would like to have a FaceBook page to promote the airport. Michael Mossman asked that all privacy rights and expectations of club members be met. Henry stated that he didn't want to post photos but would like to have general information about the airport, including promotional materials about events.

Wayne Deckard stated that the club would need a minimum of 10 people on the ground for the swap meet, not doing food. Wayne would not have a problem finding a caterer to sell food.

Swap meeting committee: Wayne Deckard, Darren Roberts, Chris Henry, Earl Brosman. The committee will make a presentation at the June meeting; with the club voting yes or no to the event.

American Bonanza Meeting report: John Saalwaechter attended second annual American Bonanza Meeting at Tullahoma TN airport. John stated that a guy put a lot of money into Staggerwings and how has a quality museum of aircraft, aviation memoriabilia and static displays. John reports that Tullahoma is only two hours south in a Bonanza, so it would be about three hours or so away in a Cessna 150 or similar aircraft. He added that Tullahoma is close to Lynchburg, so it is a short trip to the Jack Daniels distillery for a tour. For more information on the museum see http://www.beechcraftheritagemuseum.org.

Property Repair: Tractor shed 90% finished; Steve McClure thought that he might be able to finishing nailing the crown of the sheet metal on Sunday morning. Steve McClure would like to repair the fence in front of the airport property. John Saalwaecther has some cold patch left over and would donate it to the club for taxiway repairs.

Adjournment: The meeting was informally adjourned.
