Annual Elections: The annual club elections will be held at the July 21, 2012 meeting. Wayne Deckard opened the floor for nominations and announcements. Nominations will be open until Friday, July 6, 5:00 p.m. EDT, then will be closed, although write-in nominations and votes will be accepted. Anyone interested in running for an office or directorship should notify Wayne Deckard or Michael Mossman by phone or email (preferred) before nominations are closed. Michael Mossman will send ballots and self-addressed, stamped envelopes by mail to all members. Members may vote by mail or in person at the July meeting. Members may also vote by email, although email votes will not be secret.

Slate of Candidates, to date: Wayne Deckard, Chad Williams, president; Tom Rich, Jay Schaumberg, treasurer; Michael Mossman, secretary; Earl Brosman, Gene Hollingsworth, Chuck Leucht, director.

Asphalt Repair: The ramp/apron area around the fuel island is now completed, with the final cost of $2,500. The property owners agreed to split the cost. The club paid the bill in full and will send a letter to the property owners for reimbursement.

Insurance: Wayne Deckard has been receiving estimates for renewal of the club's liability insurance. Coverage should be $1,000,000. Most are coming back that if no claims of over $5,000 and filed then the rates will not go up. We must renew our current policy or get a new one before the end of July.

IDEM Requirements: Chad Williams reported that the IDEM requires that any organization with an underground fuel tank have someone take a course and pass. Chad took the course, passed and has the certificate on file. There was no charge for the course.

Homeland Security Recommendations: Wayne Deckard reported that Homeland Security wants all airports to participate in a recommended course in how an airport could be affected in the event of a national emergency. The non-mandatory course is $50.

Airport Swap Meet: The committee has recommended that the swap meet will not take place in July but should consider it for an event next year. Earl Brosman is still planning on taking some parts to Oshkosh to sell and would be willing to take other managable items for club members.

Runway Inspection: INDOT is due to inspect the runway sometime in mid July. We have one runway light that is on the ground and another that needs to be re-staked. The club will need to fix these lights before the inspection and insure that the growth along the north end of the runway does not exceed three feet in height. The club will need to locate a bush hog and clear the ravine between the runway and the grass taxiway. The club will need to sweep the runway and locate a rental sweeper. Earl Brosman recommended that about six people with shoulder-mounted leaf browers could clean the runway in an acceptable amount of time. Wayne Deckard recommended that the club rent a paint sprayer and touch up the runway markings. Earl Brosman would like to spray the runway and/or ramp area cracks for weeds; Chad Williams will buy some generic Roundup. Wayne Deckard recommended that the club should have the runway cracks resealed this year; we should wait until cooler weather when the expansion joints are more open.

Adjournment: Gene Hollingsworth motioned to adjourn; Chad Williams seconded.
