Cleanup day — While the weather did not cooperate, a number of people collected trash from the maintenance and other hangers, inspected and repaired runway lights, and sprayed weeds. Thank you to all who participated.

Visitors — We welcomed two new visitors who would like to learn to fly.

Hangar Repairs — The roof on Hanger 5 needs to be repaired. The 2x6's under the roof material have become rotten allowing the metal roof to become detached. After the meeting we will move the aircraft in this hanger so that the hanger can be repaired. Ray will discuss repair with Don. In addition to the roof repair, a number of the support posts have come out of the ground. Don has indicated that he would provide a backhoe to dig under the hanger support posts.

Club Memoriums — In the case that a member passes away, a motion was made by Dick Gurley that $50 be sent either in flowers or to a charity. The motion was seconded by John Saalwaechter and unanimously passed.

Fuel System — The fuel pump hose was changed. During the manufacture of the new hose, oil is impregnated into the hose to make the hose supple. This oil may leach out during use and cause the first 3 or so gallons to be green rather than blue in color. If desired, the members should place the first 3 gallons of fuel back in the tank and make a record of that on the fuel sheet.

Fuel Tank Repairs — Steve McClure will coordinate the South fuel tank repair. He will ask Don to dig next to the tank and determine if new anodes can be installed. Don may also desire to remove the tank and replace it with an above ground tank. If these actions do not resolve the problem, there was discussion about spending in the order of $5,000 to have a contractor repair the South tank. Several ideas were discussed about how to offset this expense including a $1 per gallon increase in gas price.

Municipal Involvement — Ray Rice has been involved with meetings with the Lebanon mayor and a county commissioner. It has been determined that the airport is worth improving. The mayor will meet with the city council to determine next actions.

INDOT Investment — Ray Rice will have a meeting with the state to gain support for additional improvement funds.

Treasurer's report — $4,44 in checking, General savings $9,529, Fuel Savings $6,206. Gary Rogers did not pay his past due rent as promised. Thus, according to the motion passed last month, a letter from a lawyer will be sent to him demanding payment.

Basic Med Report — Doc Saalwaechter discussed the benefits of Basic Med. This sounds like an opportunity for pilots to return to flight status.

Hangar Assignments — Earl Brosman has become the hangar coordinator and will assist BCAA in the assignment and record keeping of the hangars.

Adjournment — The meeting was adjourned based on a motion from Dick Gurley and seconded by all attending.
