Approval of Minutes — The minutes from the May 11, 2023 meeting were approved.

Club Thanks and Recognition — Ray Rice offered the club's thanks to Don Geisler for the mowing, Earl Brosman for general works and projects, and to Kevin Hoffer and Mark Poliak for "getting things done."

Old Business, Property Maintenance — Earl Brosman reports that the grass has not been going so little mowing has been done. If any of the property needs maintenance that item will move to the top of the projects list. Earl's hangar door has been fixed so he can now get his airplane out. Steve McClure's door still needs to be fixed or rebuilt. Steve Koch's door fell off but he fixed it. Mary Ann Kitzmiller has volunteered to clean the operations building.

Fuel System Report — The fuel system passed its inspection. The club will still need someone to do the fuel manager exam. Earl Brosman completed one exam role; Ray Rice and Mark Poliak wll complete the other two.

Runway Report — The runway has rocks (gravel and broken concrete) on it. Earl Brosman has thrown away the big pieces but the club still needs someone to go down the runway to clean it with a backpack blower. The club will also need someone with "farm equipment" to scrape the grass overgrowth from the edge of the runway.

Airport Intern Report — The temporary airport intern has been agreeable to Earl's assignments and is working out well.

PPG Event Report — The event is scheduled for August 17-19, with attendance wrapping up on Sunday, August 20. Jason Dodd is coordinating the event again this year.

Social Media Report — The club has a Facebook page that has not been updated in quite a while. Earl Brosman has access to update and edit but does not know if he has the password available. Mary Ann Kitzmiller will rework and maintain the site when the password is provided.

Club Equipment Report — The club has functioning mowers but one is leaking. Mark Poliak volunteered to fix it.

Treasurer's Report — As of May 26, 2023, the club has $11,820.38 in the checking account and $1,996.12 in the fuel savings account. The club will need an updated report on the fuel balances and rent statements.

Fuel Report — The club will need to order more avgas in June, and will need to sell 400 gallons to make room for the new load. Fuel price is expected to be about the same as the load delivered in March 2023. Earl Brosman will place an order and will need to ask the supplier to put us on the list for a delivery.

Hangar Report, New Tenants and Members — Jason Dodd converted his membership from Associate to Full, bought Dennis Paradise's airplane, and is keeping it in the same hangar. Mark Osowski joined the club as a full member.

New Business, Enclosing a Hangar — John Kindred brought a proposal for enclosing a hangar to the club. The club will email current tenants to see if anyone wants to move in. The club will still need the property owner to provide a lease although he has agreed to one. John Kindred will be the director of the project.

Airport Access Proposal — John McCormick, from New Castle IN, is working locally here and wants to fly his aircraft daily and leave a truck for his use, for an undislosed term but not more than a month or two. He does not want to rent a hangar or pay for a full membership. Ray Rice stated that an Associate Membership would be acceptable if he intended to stay more than a couple of days.
